Aref Namayandeh

I am a PhD student in Information Engineering at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), where I am supervised by Professor Chandra Nair. I received my BSc in Computer Science from Sharif University of Technology.

My research interests broadly lie in information theory, probability, and combinatorics. Recently, I have been working on information-theoretic inequalities and their connections to additive combinatorics. More generally, I am open to work on topics involving converse results, entropic bounds, and information measures, particularly in network information theory, statistics, and concentration of measure.
